Honoring my creative lineage: The elements

This is a series of vignettes honoring my creative lineage, which includes the people, the land and the forces that have shaped me, prayed for me and dreamed me into being, so that I may walk my own empowered path to serve and create a new world of color and possibility.

Thank you, Water, for cleansing me and returning me back to the flow of my rivers, the waves of my ocean, the calm of my tears; for reminding me that there is always time to slow down, take a deep breath and tune in. 

Thank you, Air, for expanding my capacity and for helping me to be flexible, for being the words in my prayer. 

Thank you, Fire, for your transformative and protective powers, for initiating the vision, the dream and the light within me.

Thank you, Earth, for your grounding energy and for holding me, supporting me and guiding me forward. 

For the benefit of all.

Your gifts are bountiful in every way. Your guidance and wisdom greet me when I remember to open myself up to you, to ask for help. Allow me to honor your presence and power. 

Thank you for supporting me and my ancestors, for being an integral part of our sacred expression of love.
